Holy cow I can't believe we already made it to chapter 4. It seems like it was just yesterday that I finished this chapter. Anyway, this is the chapter which I personally think has the most improvement stylistically, and also for dialogue and plot. I'm pretty excited for this.

@Ian Evans: When DID you write this chapter?
Ian Evans May 11th, 2017, 8:57 am
@artofjoe: hmmm, good question... About a year and 2 months ago. It was during a rare stroke of genius where I did the last 30 pages in like a single day. I keep truing to do it again, but it hasn't worked.

after I finished it instead of working on the fifth chapter I worked on editing the comic to make it ready for smackjeeves, and that took about all summer. That's also when I wrote the prologue. And that's why I've been in a rush to finish chapter 5 because it's a little overdue!

@Ian Evans: Oh whoa! So we are almost caught up to present day now, huh? I always write my last 30 pages of each of my books in one day, which is weird because now each page usually takes 1-2 hours to draw.

@artofjoe: Although it seems like we are all caught up to the present, chapter 4 is about 47 pages long, and chapter 5 is estimated right now to be about 70 pages. If i'm still updating twice a week it'll take over a year to get to the page I'm working on now. However, my plan right now is to finish chapter 5 by June, and then to complete the first book by September, and also have the script for the second book nearly finished at the same time. This book is 7 and a half chapters long, however, 5 is estimated to be the longest chapter. Once I finish the comic I'd like to start updating 3 times a week, maybe more depending on how fast I churn out book 2.

well, I just divulged quite a bit of information... I just want to work as hard as you are, lol. I'm realizing that many successful smackjeevers have a much stronger work ethic than I do.

@Ian Evans: Well, I HAD already finished writing my book when I found smackjeeves, so it is quite a different situation. You are probably working harder than I am at the moment.
